The founder of the company, Antti, is a passionate lawyer who wants to find solutions even in difficult
situations. He has won cases even when the situation seemed hopeless. Antti
offers both consulting and assistance in legal processes.
Antti has expertise in contract law, public procurement, administrative law, corporate law, family law, criminal law and human rights argumentation.
In criminal matters, Antti has experience in financial, freedom of expression and sexual crime cases, the latter two of which he also has academic publications on (link to Antti's publications)
Antti's special area of expertise also includes various complaints and requests for information: Antti helps when an official/authority treats you badly or when you need to get important information from a reluctant official.
Antti, who has passed the bar exam, in 2020, has been involved in many things. Since graduating, he has worked, among other things, as a lawyer in a law firm, a lawyer and project manager in the welfare area, and as a project researcher and expert at a university. Antti is also writing a doctoral dissertation on public sector contract management, which deals with issues at the interface of contract and administrative law.
Antti is available by appointment and works in Finnish, Swedish and English according to the client's needs.

Charging
As a rule, Lunalex's invoicing is based on the time spent on the assignment.
Lunalex's standard hourly charge for private individuals is 190 – 250 euros / h + VAT 25.5 %, depending on the quality and difficulty of the task (238.45–313.75 euros / h incl. VAT), The corresponding standard hourly charge for corporate customers is 250 euros / h + VAT 25.5% – 330.00 euros / h + VAT 25.5% (313.75.00 euros / h incl. VAT - 414.15 euros / h incl. VAT).
Procedures are charged for at least the first 15 minutes.
The minimum fee for a business acquisition agreement, division agreement, divorce agreement, estate registration and inheritance distribution agreement is 770 euros / h (966.35 euros incl. VAT).
In other matters, if the client so wishes, a fixed price can be agreed upon instead of hourly pricing, provided that the matter is of ordinary quality and scope.
Free initial consultation
Lunalex does not charge for a short 10–15 minute initial consultation or a similar time-consuming consultation via email regarding the start of an assignment. The initial consultation will determine whether the assignment should be started and what actions should be taken in the matter.
Legal aid and legal expenses insurance
Most often, private home insurance and business insurance include legal expenses insurance, which covers your own legal expenses, excluding a deductible of approximately 15%.
When the client has legal expenses insurance, the lawyer's fee can be covered by the legal expenses insurance. Some insurance policies may also cover the opposing party's legal expenses.
The client may also have the opportunity to receive legal aid paid from state funds.
In this case, the costs incurred by using a lawyer are paid by the state. Legal aid can be granted to the client free of charge or with a deductible, depending on the client's income and assets. In some cases, the injured party can receive free legal aid regardless of their income and assets, for example if they are a victim of a sexual crime or serious violence.
On the other hand, a defense attorney is often assigned to a person accused of a serious crime, which means that the court costs can only be paid if the trial results in a conviction. Legal aid can be applied for and granted for the deductible and excess portion of legal expenses insurance.
